There’s a trait that is mandatory in high achieving behaviour.
It sets the elite apart from the others.
It leads to more money, more success, more abundance.
High level athletes have it. Entrepreneurs have it.
But it’s interesting …
This trait is rare.
We hear about “wantrepreneurs” all the time…
They want to be a entrepreneur but they don’t want to do the work.
They like the sound of working for themselves and creating a successful business, but the work ethic isn’t there.
So what’s the trait that sets wantrepreneurs apart from entrepreneurs?
You have to be a self starter. You have to be driven.
There are ways you can become a self starter and to become more driven.
Do you want to live a life by your own design? Well this message is for you….
So how do we become a self starter?
1. The first part is you have to take control of the situation.
We are used to structure in school, in sports, at home, in life.
We are used to waiting for people to tell us what to do.
But you need to get away from this to be a self starter.
You need to make your own decisions. You need to take control and develop your own schedule.
Decisiveness makes you feel more in control.
Be more decisive.
2. Force yourself to do something hard.
If you are going to make it, you are going to need to put in the hard yards.
This is the work that needs to be done.
You are not going to get fit if you have a million excuses not to go to the gym.
You are not going to be a successful entrepreneur by staying in “learning mode”.
Saying you need more information and training is an excuse.
You need action.
Just make one decision and stick to it. This will help you save time and make more money.
You might be afraid of making mistakes. But mistakes are better than learning from a book.
Drop excuses and get into action.
Make your action bigger than your excuses.
Nobody is grading you.
“Be who you are and say what you feel because people who mind don’t matter and people who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss
3. Remember why you are doing this.
Self starters are winners, they are courageous, they are leaders.
It’s more than money.
It’s more than recognition.
What it really comes down to it… it’s about being autonomous.
It’s about living life on your own terms.
Are you someone who can start the vision themselves?
Do you have a spark of leadership?
Do you have a desire for more?
